Satin Comforters & Sheets: A Luxe Bedding Guide for Diwali
Live Beautifully. Sleep Royally.
Every festive season has its own sparkle: brass diyas polished till they glow, fresh flowers at the door, silk sarees catching the light during aarti. This year, let the bedroom share a little of that shine. Navratri (11–19 October 2026) brings late nights and family visits, Diwali (8 November 2026) is a few weeks away, and the evenings are just turning cool enough for a proper comforter. It is the perfect moment for satin.
Our new Luxury Satin Comforters have just arrived in five colours: Mauve, Blush Pink, Charcoal Grey, Navy Blue and Ivory. Paired with a glossy satin bedsheet, they turn an ordinary bed into something that feels like a palace suite. Here is how to choose, pair and care for satin bedding, with live prices from our store and Free shipping above ₹999 across India.
Why satin feels so special
Satin is not a fibre but a weave. The threads are arranged so that more of them float on the surface, which creates that smooth, liquid sheen you see on a satin sheet.
- A soft, natural glow: satin reflects light gently, so under fairy lights or diya light the bed looks rich and festive without any prints at all.
- A smooth, gliding feel: the surface feels silky against the skin.
- Kinder to hair and skin: a smoother surface means less friction on your hair and face while you sleep, so you are likely to wake up with fewer tangles, less frizz and fewer sleep lines.
- Rich, deep colour: solid jewel tones like mulberry, sapphire and navy look deeper and more luxurious on satin than on a matte fabric.
Satin or cotton: when to use which
We love both, and the best bedrooms often use both. Think of it like this: cotton is your everyday kurta, satin is your festive silk.
- Choose cotton for humid nights, hot summers and everyday use when you want a matte, breathable, absorbent fabric. Jaipuri hand-block cotton is also perfect when you want traditional prints.
- Choose satin when you want a smooth feel, a polished hotel-style look and festive glamour, especially in AC rooms, on cool October and November nights, or when guests are coming home for the festivals.
- Mix the two if you cannot decide: a satin comforter over a printed cotton bedsheet gives you heritage prints and modern shine on the same bed.
Meet the Luxury Satin Comforters

Each comforter has a smooth satin finish on the outside and a plush filling inside, held in place by an elegant quilted pattern so the warmth stays evenly spread. It is light enough for early winter and AC rooms, yet cosy enough to feel like a hug on the first cold nights of the season.
- Double bed (90×100 inches): ₹2,999 (MRP ₹4,999). Try the Luxury Mauve Satin Double Bed Comforter, a dusky rose-wine shade that feels romantic and royal at the same time.
- Single bed (60×90 inches): ₹2,399 (MRP ₹3,999), ideal for a single bed, a kid’s room or a guest who likes their own cover.

How to choose the right colour for your room
Mauve: warm and romantic
Mauve glows beautifully under warm lights, which makes it a natural Diwali choice. It suits wooden furniture, cream walls and brass decor.
Blush Pink: soft and fresh
Blush Pink brings a gentle, celebratory mood without feeling loud. Lovely for a newly married couple’s room, a daughter’s room or any bedroom with white or light grey walls.
Navy Blue: calm and regal
Navy feels rich and restful at once. It looks especially royal with gold or brass accents and is a good pick for anyone who prefers deep colours.
Charcoal Grey: modern and easy
Charcoal is the most practical shade: it hides everyday use well and suits modern, minimal rooms. Add a pink or mustard cushion for festive warmth.
Ivory: classic and bright
Ivory makes a room feel bigger and lighter, and it pairs with almost any bedsheet colour, satin or cotton.
Pairing your comforter with satin sheets

For a true luxe look, layer a satin comforter over a satin bedsheet. Go tonal for a calm, hotel-style finish, or contrast for drama. All three sheets below come in Double (95×108 inches) at ₹1,699 and King (100×108 inches) at ₹1,799.
- Vintage Mulberry Silky Satin Luxury Sheet: a deep wine-purple with a rich sheen. Pair it with the Mauve comforter for a tonal, jewel-box bed, or with Ivory for elegant contrast.
- Deep Sapphire Blue Silky Smooth Satin Sheet: a jewel blue that looks stunning under Navy Blue, or striking under Ivory and Blush Pink.
- Charcoal Slate High-Shine Satin Bedsheet: a sleek, high-gloss grey that sits perfectly under Charcoal Grey for a modern look, or under Blush Pink for a soft-meets-bold contrast.

Early winter comfort, Navratri to Diwali
- Navratri nights (mid-October): satin sheet on the bed, satin comforter folded at the foot. Pull it up after midnight when the air turns cool.
- Diwali week (early November): the comforter becomes your main cover.
- Peak winter: layer a warm blanket or quilt under the comforter so the satin stays on top as the beautiful finishing layer.
Caring for satin bedding
- Wash gently: machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with a mild liquid detergent. Wash separately or with similar colours.
- No harsh bleach: avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can dull the sheen.
- Low heat only: line dry in shade or tumble dry on low. If ironing, use the lowest setting on the reverse side.
- Treat the comforter kindly: wash it only when needed, on a gentle cycle or by dry cleaning, and air it in shade between uses to keep it fresh and fluffy.
